Carl’s Junior Rivals McDonald’s In Soul Seeking!

Tuesday April 22nd a “Public Outreach Study” was scheduled to take place at Carl’s Jr. in Anaheim, CA. The third of three such studies.

After an hour of study, while packing up to leave, a couple of fellow patrons sitting adjacent my table, addressed me. Their names were Alex and Wally. They said they had read the sign I had siting on the table inviting people to ask me about Bible study. We talked and studied about salvation, God’s will, the inspiration of scripture, the holy Spirit and water baptism. We considered texts like: Matthew 7:13,14, 21-23, 2 Timothy 3:16,17, Galatians 3:26,27, Acts 9:1-19, 22:16, Acts 2:38 and others. After about 30 minutes they got up to catch a bus.

On the way to the bus stop I asked if they’d like to continue studying and introduced Ivan Stewart’s Open Bible Study. I sensed that Wally had begun to be disinterested during the study when baptism was presented as the point in time one is forgiven of their sins and becomes a child of God, is saved. So when Wally declined a personal OBS study I was not surprised. Max on the other hand said he was interested in a personal study and we exchanged contact information!

One new brother in Christ was initially reached at an Anaheim McDonald’s. Might another be made at a Carl’s Jr.?

Please keep Max and his journey to God in prayer. Pray also for those of us who will attempt to help Max find the way of the Lord.

$1 Spicy Chicken + $1.29 small soft drink + 2 hrs and a sign = Opportunity to proclaim the gospel of Christ and maybe more!

Got any fast food joints in your neck of the woods? I wonder what seekers might frequent them? Might you be someone God uses to point them to the Lord? Could be! Why not find out?

“Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 10:32
