Compassion

“Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a Shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:36-38

My mom shares another opportunity to shine the light of Christ:

“Also today at walmart a mother in front of us found out her son had taken $25 from her, her younger son was acting up and then the cashier messed up her bill.  The lady was close to tears and upset, she said her day had been a mess all day.  I had the urge to hug her and I wisphered in her ear while hugging.  “God is good all the time, just rely on Him”  She thanked me and left.  I pray the hug and message will help.  As you say all we can do is share and pray.” Sharon Yost

Share and pray. I stongly believe that we are nobody’s only invitation to know God (Acts 17:24-28), though we can be one.

Let’s seek to demonstrate the love God has for all mankind, to those we encounter in our day to day living. Let’s determine to make the most of the opportunities presented us, and pray they will help others know the Lord and be saved.

Keep thinking souls!
